It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the passing of His Excellency Dr. Samuel Shafiishuna Daniel Nujoma, the first President and Founding Father of the Namibian nation. His unwavering commitment and dedication to the liberation and development of Namibia have left an indelible mark on us all. As young people and future leaders, we continue to draw inspiration from his visionary leadership in striving for a united and prosperous Namibia. His legacy serves as a guiding light, reminding us of the immense sacrifices made for our freedom. As we mourn his passing, we take comfort in the words of Ecclesiastes 3:1-2: "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot." Dr. Sam Nujoma dedicated his life to fighting for the Namibian people and spearheaded the liberation struggle for a free and independent Namibia.
He served the nation to the best of his ability and fulfilled his purpose.
Let us take this time to reflect on the solid foundations he laid for a free and prosperous Namibia and celebrate his life and enduring legacy.
