Taking a Round Square trip to Spain

In November 2024, six of our students embarked on a truly unforgettable journey when they had the privilege of attending an International Round Square Conference hosted in Madrid, Spain, by SEK Ciudalcampo School.

The first few days were spent exploring the beauty of Madrid and immersing themselves in its vibrant culture and history. They visited iconic landmarks such as Plaza Mayor and the world-renowned Museo del Prado, where they marvelled at all its world-famous paintings.

Guided tours allowed them to fully experience the heart of the breathtaking metropolis.

“I got to learn and experience some of Spain’s exciting and diverse culture while travelling inside the heart of Madrid and seeing its breathtaking infrastructure,” Morgen Goamab said of the experience.

The final day was dedicated to enjoying the charming countryside in the legendary Spanish mountains. The exhilarating day full of challenging activities and games was rewarded with dinner and an opportunity to socialise with other students.

“The sunrise along with the mountains was truly a sight I’ll never forget. Definitely a trip worth remembering," Venouwa Mungunda added.

The trip was not only an opportunity for our students to learn outside the classroom, but a chance to bond and create life-long memories. As they have returned home, they not only brought back souvenirs but new perspectives and experiences that will stay with them for many years to come.
